Music & lyrics by Vij Sodera

A lonely figure walks the road
Which way to turn, which way to go
When is now, where was before
What is it…I’m searching for

A lonely figure walks the road
No name to call, no hand to hold
The last day is just like the one
To follow and the setting sun’s vermillion

A still small voice interrupts the sound
Of silence, but there’s no one around.
You who seek will surely find Me
When you seek…with all your heart

A lonely figure walks the road
Which way to turn, which way to go
When is now, where was before
What is it…I’m searching for

Vij’s notes:
This is probably the song that took the longest time to finish (about 20 years). The title comes from 1 Kings 19, where the prophet Elijah is in the wilderness and God speaks to him – not out of a wind or an earthquake or fire, but as a still small voice.
This is how God speaks to us all.
A lonely figure walks the road. Salvation has to be received personally by each individual. When God speaks to us, no one else can respond on our behalf.

Pardeep plays some lovely melodic riffs. I asked Andrew to put in some growl and a bit more low end. And he did.
